Chimney Camera Surveys

‘Camera chimney surveys and reports are effective methods to determine the internal condition of any chimney. They can be conducted at all stages of a chimneys life.’

The comprehensive camera chimney survey and reports are conducted using a small camera which reveals the inside of the flue to check the condition for complete piece of mind. Any obstructions found during the cleaning of the chimney can be clearly identified without the need for major intrusive works to the chimney structure. The survey enables us to identify the exact source of the problem, the flue dimensions and confirms the most appropriate lining method.

“We usually carry out a chimney survey before the installation of a new chimney lining OR after a chimney fire so that we can assess the condition/ any damage inside the flue. The camera is inserted through the top of the chimney and provides a full picture of the flue This helps us to evaluate the most effective lining solution for our clients” – Oliver J- Owner at ALS Chimneys
