‘A sound chimney or flue is not only a primary safety consideration, it is also essential to get the best efficiency out of your new stove or fire.’
Chimneys are built to withstand substantial temperature changes, structural changes, weather changes and usage changes. This is why it is important for the chimney to be lined correctly so that it remains safe and efficient. Every chimney is different and the above elements will impact some more than others therefore an initial inspection should always be carried out by one of our trained chimney specialists so we can determine which of our linings will work best for you and your chimney.
Flexible chimney liners come in different sizes and qualities, however we use two specific linings for our installations:
All of our liners are installed by our trained chimney specialists with a combined experience of 25 years in the business and comply with the building regulations. ALS Chimneys provide a professional assessment of your flue to ensure the correct lining size is provided, we mainly install flexible flue liners on Wood-burning and Multi-fuel stoves, small open fires, boiler flues and gas fires.
“After getting lots of smoke from my fire I called ALS Chimneys who came out and conducted a CCTV survey to see what was blocking my chimney. Turns out my liner needed replacing and because of the angle of my chimney, we decided a flexible liner would be best. ALS really helped me understand how it all worked and had it completed with no fuss in a couple of hours! I was really impressed, I thought it was going to take days! thank you”- Harold A, Filey
As with all our products, a full chimney inspection will be conducted to determine the most effective solution for your chimney needs. If you would like to know more, please contact Laura on 01723817221 for North Yorkshire or Oliver on 01482770395 for Humberside.
