Commercial Services
Commercial Chimney & Flue Solutions
ALS Chimneys provides specialist chimney, flue and duct lining solutions for commercial, industrial and public sector properties.
We work with building owners, contractors, facilities teams and consultants to deliver safe, compliant and efficient systems, even within complex or restricted environments. From ageing flues to high-temperature ductwork, each project is carefully assessed to identify the most appropriate solution while minimising disruption to building operations.

FuranFlex Systems
Advanced Composite Flue Lining
FuranFlex is an advanced composite lining system used to restore and upgrade existing chimney and flue systems without the need for full structural replacement.
Installed as a flexible liner and cured in place, it forms a smooth, joint-free and highly durable structure with a steel-like finish. This creates a gas-tight, corrosion-resistant and moisture-resistant system capable of withstanding demanding commercial environments.
Its ability to adapt to irregular, damaged or non-standard flues makes it particularly effective for refurbishment projects, heritage buildings and complex installations where traditional methods may be impractical.
FuranFlex systems are commonly used for gas, oil and solid fuel applications, as well as high-temperature environments, providing a reliable long-term solution with minimal disruption to the building.

VentilFlex Systems
Duct & Extraction Lining Solutions
VentilFlex uses the same cured-in-place composite technology as FuranFlex, but is designed for ventilation, exhaust and extraction duct systems.
It creates a continuous, airtight and easily cleaned internal lining, making it suitable for commercial kitchen extract systems, ventilation risers, high-temperature exhaust ducts and complex duct shapes.
For higher-temperature environments, VentilFlex RKV provides a gas-tight and fire-rated lining solution, particularly suited to commercial kitchen extraction and grease-laden ductwork.
Many installations can be completed within short programme windows or scheduled out of hours to help minimise disruption to building operations.
Key Benefits
Why Composite Systems Are Used
Composite lining systems are widely used in commercial buildings due to their durability, flexibility and ability to deliver high-performance results with minimal disruption.
Joint-Free Construction
Eliminates joints to improve gas tightness and reduce leakage risks.
High Heat Resistance
Designed to withstand demanding temperatures and harsh operating conditions.
Flexible Installation
Adapts to complex, irregular or non-standard flue and duct configurations.
Minimal Disruption
Installed with minimal structural impact and reduced need for intrusive works.
Project Delivery
Assessment, Surveys & Installation
Correct specification begins with accurate assessment. ALS Chimneys provides visual inspections and CCTV surveys to determine the condition, structure and suitability of existing flue and duct systems.
We assess key factors including structural integrity, dimensional accuracy, leakage risks and compatibility with lining systems, ensuring the most appropriate solution is specified for each project.
Installation is carefully planned around building access, operational requirements and scheduling constraints. Many systems can be installed within short programme windows or carried out out-of-hours to minimise disruption.
Where required, remedial works to chimney structures, stacks or associated masonry can be incorporated as part of the overall project, ensuring a complete and reliable solution.
